Looking for something special for your laundry room decor? This very vintage, nearly antique, electric iron is the perfect bit of farmhouse meets industrial chic. Made by Landers, Frary & Clark in the 1920's-1930's era, the Thermax Model E3905 was one of the early electric irons. I am fairly certain that ironing clothes in the early 1900's was the equivalent of lifting weights today, this iron is hefty at 6.5lbs! It includes the original, fabric covered cord, and actually still works! Now, I wouldn't recommend using it, it would definitely be at your own risk... the cord has seen better days the area by the prongs is open and some of the hard plastic area that plugs into the iron is chipped/broken. Being the dare devil I am, I did test it... didn't get electrocuted but still... This would be a very unique door stop!

Condition: Very very vintage... has lots of rust and lots of patina... which, makes it all the more charming. The wood handle has darkened, you can almost see where someone had spent many hours using it.

Measures 7" wide by 5.5" high.
