Fabulous atomic era four petal flower pattern snack plate and matching tea cup made by Grantcrest China in Japan in the 50's. Fine china, lovely white color, with platinum silver painted rims and patterned with a teal blue and light gray floral design . The plate has a funky boomerang type shape, which was designed for easy gripping to hold while sipping tea (pinkies up!). Both pieces are in great condition, especially for their age. There is some minor paint loss here and there consistent with age and previous use. No chips, cracks or repairs. A nice lightweight porcelain china, wonderful for use or display!

The plate measure 8" dia. and the cup measure 4-1/2" wide with handle included and 2-1/2" deep. The plate has an indentation for the cup to gently rest in.
